Concept
This series of work was done through an internship with TEDxSt. Cloud. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
For this particular event, the theme was “Pattern”. This theme was chosen after discussions of AI and patterns related to technology. In this aspect of my tasks, I was thinking of everyday ways that we interact with technology and wanted to portray something both human and technological.

1. Mind mapping + sketching
The first step in my logo design process was mind mapping in order to start with a few key words. I then moved to sketching before presenting logo concepts.

2. Initial logo concepts
I presented the following two initial logo concepts. Each concept included a pattern that the logo integrated into. Because the theme was ‘Pattern’, I felt strongly that a pattern was applicable. The first option, the fingerprint, was immediately chosen. The second option was ruled out as a puzzle piece is tied to autism awareness. The logotype of the first option was also heavily preferred.

3. Final logo

4. Advertisements
After completing the logo, I collaborated with the marketing team on a range of advertisements for digital and print applications, an event program and event display boards.
